FAQ

  • Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?

Yes. The products we use are designed to be safe for families and pets once they are dry. We ask that children and pets stay clear of treated areas until drying is complete, which typically takes 1–2 hours. After that, your home and yard are safe to enjoy as usual.

  • What Pests Do You Treat?

At Desert Guard Pest Control, we provide safe and effective treatments for a wide range of pests common to Southern Utah, including ants, spiders, scorpions, cockroaches, wasps, silverfish, earwigs, and more. Whether it’s inside your home or around your yard, we tailor each treatment to target the pests causing you problems

  • How long does a treatment take?

The length of a pest control service depends on the size of your property and the type of pests we’re targeting. On average, most treatments take between 30 minutes to 1 hour. Our technicians always perform a thorough inspection and treatment without rushing the process.

  • How soon will I see results after treatment?

You’ll usually notice a reduction in pest activity within the first few days after treatment. Some pests may be more active at first as they come into contact with the products. Within 1–2 weeks, you should see a significant decrease or complete elimination of the problem.

  • What if pests come back between services?

If you’re on a recurring service plan, your coverage includes free re-services between scheduled visits. Just give us a call, and we’ll return promptly to take care of the problem at no additional cost.

  • Do I have to sign a contract?

No contracts required! Desert Guard Pest Control proudly offers one-time and recurring services with flexible scheduling. Our goal is to earn your trust with every visit, not lock you into a long-term agreement.
